Site audience and purpose
Parents, students, and teachers are the primary audiences for this site. It is intended that the site act as an educational tool to inform the public.
The site is divided into two main topics; namely:
- Education provides information about the National Curriculum.
- Tenders details invitations to tender for Ministry projects.
Additionally, there are three reference topics - About Us, Press Room, and Contact Us.
The Site Map is recommended as an alternative aid to navigating the site.
Pages on the site conform to a standard format.
The banner menu provides links to the main topics and the reference topics from each page of the site. Click on the Brighter Futures logo image to return to the homepage.
At the foot of each page is information on the date the page was published or last modified, the primary contact details for the Ministry of Education, Training, Employment, Youth, Sports & Culture, and other useful links, e.g. terms and conditions, access keys, feedback, etc.
On most pages (not on the homepage) the right column shows a local menu specific to the section of the site currently being visited.
