The Ministry of Education, Employment & Gender Affairs and the Department of Labour & Pensions released the Labour Relations Bill, 2015 and the National Pensions (Amendment) Bill, 2015 for public consultation in June 2015. These Bills can both be accessed on the Ministry’s website at the direct link:

The Ministry and Department would like to thank all members of the public and relevant organisations who took part in the public consultation process on these Bills by either attending the district meetings, meeting specifically with the Ministry and Department, or by submitting their written feedback.

Due to the importance of these Bills and as a result of requests received today from persons seeking an extension of time, the Government has made the decision to extend the deadline for providing feedback on both Bills to the 30th September, 2015. This will be the final date in which the public can provide their feedback on both the Labour Relations Bill and National Pensions (Amendment) Bill.
