The Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Sunrise donated a sizeable sum to the Ministry of Education's Extended After School Programme this week.

Programme Coordinator Michael Myles received a cheque for $5,000 from the service organisation's Community Service and Youth Directors Finley Josephs and Don Aitken, during the Club's weekly meeting on Wednesday, 28 August 2013.

The donation will help provide after-school programmes in nine different fields to more than 1,400 children, Mr. Josephs said.
