Tender# CTC/16-17 /EYSAL/064
FOR: IMPLEMENT, DELIVER AND MANAGE THE EXTENDED AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMME ON BEHALF OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, YOUTH, SPORTS, AGRICULTURE & LANDS
AT: TEN (10) GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS SITES
Client Agency: Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports, Agriculture & Lands
The Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports, Agriculture and Lands (the Ministry) is seeking proposals from suitable organisations to implement, deliver and manage the
Extended After School Programme (EASP) for students within the Cayman Islands (CI) Government Schools for the period of January 2018 to December 2020. The EASP is currently offered at six (6) Primary Schools and two (2) High Schools on Grand Cayman, as well as in Cayman Brae where the primary and high school programmes are delivered at the High School site. The programme is designed to provide approximately 1200-1500 students with engaging enrichment activities between the hours of 3pm and 6:30pm.
The Ministry on behalf of the Cayman Islands Government acts as the strategic oversight body for the EASP. The programme supports the Build safer school communities and promotes inclusion initiative within the Cayman Islands Strategic Plan for Education, Strategic Goal 4.
The provision of a dynamic after school programme for our students is of great importance to the Ministry, and therefore, the Ministry is seeking the insights of interested organisations on how best to achieve the desired outcomes of the EASP. A proposal should be provided demonstrating the organisation's capacity to manage and deliver the programme consistent with the anticipated running costs of the overall programme. Proposals must present the proposer's current thinking in sufficient detail to demonstrate their understanding of the issues and the soundness of their approach in meeting the desired outcomes and scope of work.
