Student Management Information System to all Schools

The Ministry of Education invites the submission of tenders from interested parties for the provision of a Student Management Information System to all schools.
The Management Information System required should comprise:
- Assessment and tracking
- self review and evaluation
- text messaging
- financial management
- statutory returns
- interactive timetabling
- examinations management
- curriculum planning analysis
- student records management
- behaviour management
- DA access
- parental access
- document storage
- report generation
- automatic scheduling
- resource booking
Tenders can be submitted for a single solution for the above stated services.
Tender documents will be issued on application to interested parties. The tender package will include details of equipment specifications required.
The contract will be awarded in a timely manner so that the order can be placed as soon as possible.
The criteria to be used in evaluating the tender will include:
- Organizational profile, including experience with similar projects in jurisdictions comparable to the Cayman Islands and perceived company stability;
- Expertise, including 10 or more years working in school management information systems, along with the academic and technical qualifications of person(s) to be used in the project;
- Vision and approach to the work to be completed;
- Fees, expenses and disbursements;
- Timing of project completion
- Quality of overall proposal.
Interested parties should contact the Ministry of Education, Training, Employment, Youth, Sports and Culture (details below), requesting a copy of the tender document package. Completed documents must be returned (details below) in a sealed envelope clearly marked with ‘Tender for Student Management Information System’ on or before 12 p.m. on 23rd March, 2007.
The Ministry of Education shall not be bound to assign any reason for not accepting any tender and will not defray anycost incurred by applicants.
