Building Package At The New Clifton Hunter Campus

Project scope

On Behalf of the Cayman Islands Government (CIG), the Ministry of Education, Training, Employment, Youth, Sports & Culture (the Client) intends to proceed with the Building Package for the New Clifton Hunter Campus.

Description of Services

The early building package includes all general construction services required for the construction of the New Clifton Hunter Campus.

Eligibility for Tender

Interested firms will need to meet the following eligibility criteria in order to be considered and evaluated.

  1. Have successfully completed similar projects in the last five (5) years. 
  2. Companies tendering must comply with all applicable local laws including business registrations, pensions and any other regulations
  3. Bidders are reminded that the bids should be inclusive of all cost necessary for them to conduct business in the Cayman Islands.

Further information and instructions on submission of tender, including the form of tender to be submitted and a copy of the invitation to tender document, can be obtained at:

  • Plans & Specifications will be available for pick up on 26 November 2007.
  • Bills of Quantity will be available for pick up on 3 December 2007.

Pre-Tender Conference

A Pre-Tender Conference will be held as follows:

           Cardinall Avenue
           George Town, Grand Cayman

Return of Tenders

The tenders are to be returned no later than 10:00am on 19 December 2007 in a sealed envelope to:

  • The Chairman Central Tenders Committee
    • C/o Department of Treasury
  • Government Administration Building
  • Elgin Ave, George Town, Grand Cayman
  • Cayman Islands KY1-9000

Further Information

All Bidders are requested to submit any question they may have 10 days prior to the tender return date. These question and their answers will be posted on our website 5 days prior to the tender return date.

Late tenders will not be accepted, CIG will not defray any cost incurred by tenderers. The Cayman Islands government shall not be bound to accept lowest or any tenders.
